Forget what you have heard about British food not being good. It can be superb – particularly at The White House!
Annie is an excellent cook having, in the past, cooked professionally for a London restaurant and City Directors’ lunches!
As part of your ‘course’, we will ‘eat out’ at least once during your stay at one of our local pubs or restaurants.
And, if you really want a very, very special meal and the finest wines, you can treat yourself (sorry – not included in our Course tariff) to the gastronomic delights of the Michelin-starred restaurant, The Harrow, (only 200 metres from The White House).
Eating very well and drinking good beer and wine are an essential ‘ingredient’ for ‘Learning English on Holiday’!So please let us know in advance if you have special dietary requirements.
Breakfast, lunch and evening meal are provided every day (unless you choose, at your own expense, to go to one of the many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area). Meals are served either in the Conservatory or in the Dining Room – or a packed/picnic lunch if you are going on an excursion.
